accept that failure is natural part of life
defination of failure is always self invented (its the thing that is made up on you your head)
nothing is ever as good in the real world as it is in your head
even if you achive all goals and all your dreams it dosen't feel as good as you thought it is in your head
there are going to be problems with it, there are going to be short commings with it, there will be things that you could have done better, there are going to be thing that did't go the way you expected them to go, if you hold your self to that mental standard you created for your self, you are going to drive your self insane, you are going to be fucking miserable all the time, you are going to be like one of those super successful people who hate them selfs all the time.
hold those images in your head little bit more loosely
nothing turns out quite as good as we expect.
But, nothing is ever as bad as we think it is, either.
it’s good to remember once in a while you are lazy,unproductive as is everyone else.
Practice self-forgiveness
failure in achiving a particular goal is not a refurendum on your value as a humanbeing (you could still be a good father,good person, good reader, you have good values etc.....)
Saparate action from the intension
look at the intension rather than action (when your action went wrong ex:- you procrastinated insted of studying for exams, why?)
why you thought that is gona be the good idea? how did you think that was a good use of your time? how did you think that was gona turn out?
try to empathize with the behaviour, try to understand (and thats okay kind of mindset)
Draw a lesson from your failure
take that lesson to your heart
then you realise, work on it
so, the harsh truth is negative thoughts will not go away
because negative thoughts are useful
they help you correct your mistake, the help you realise your mistakes, and benifits us in lot of different ways
the problem is not having negative thoughts, it is how to deal with those the negative thoughts
stop judging your negative thoughts with more negative thoughts
not judge negative thoughts negatively
you are a human and we are all humans so, its natural
we have to get more comfortable with negative as a culture
you can disagree with somebody witout hating them
you can fuckup a project without being a loser
you can fail an exam without being a failure
you can fail to achive a goal and not be a failure.
if you ignore the negative then you lose the positive
